How Search Works (Important):

This archive is searchable by keyword based on the document’s content, utilizing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.

Please Note: Not all documents are fully searchable:

  • Typed and Modern Digital Records: These documents are generally keyword-searchable based on the text within the file (e.g., resolutions, street names).
  • Older Handwritten or Image-Only Documents: Documents like handwritten council minutes (especially those from the 1930s) are stored as images and are not keyword-searchable. You will need to browse or search using known titles/dates to find these files.
