- Review and approval of the City’s annual budget.
- Adoption of new ordinances and resolutions.
- Oversight of city services and departments.
- Approval of contracts and agreements.
Planning and Development:
- Approval of zoning changes and subdivision plats.
- Regulation of building and construction.
Public Representation:
- Setting policy for the City.
- Appointing and supporting a City Manager.
- Representing the citizens of Maypearl.
