Warrants
How to Resolve
A warrant for your arrest may be issued if you fail to appear in court on or before your scheduled court date.
- Failure to Appear: A warrant is issued when you do not respond to a citation by your required court date. This is a separate criminal offense.
- Active Warrants: If you have an active warrant, you risk being arrested at any time.
- How to Clear a Warrant: You must either pay the full amount of the fine or appear in person at the court to speak with a judge. The court cannot give legal advice, but a judge may be able to provide you with options to resolve your case.
