City’s Abatement Efforts to Shoo Off Buzzards
Because buzzards can pose a health hazard, the City of Maypearl has begun carrying out abatement in the area of 1st , Commerce, and Trice Streets. Buzzard droppings can kill trees and create unsanitary and unsafe working conditions around communication towers. The birds often damage residential and business property. While abatement continues, residents should make sure pets are securely indoors as this type of noise tends to scare animals.
