Animal Control

The City currently contracts with Texas Animal Control Team, a private company from Waxahachie, to provide an Animal Control Officer.

Animal Control Services are provided by the City of Maypearl for its citizens. The purpose of this department is to enforce all ordinances passed and approved by the City Council. The Animal Control Officer provides the response for complaints concerning domestic animals, reptiles, and livestock.

The Animal Control Officer is responsible for impounding animals that are stray, quarantining animals which have bitten humans, and disposing of dead animals. If you wish to report an animal running at large, or an abused, neglected, or abandoned animal, you may contact the Animal Control Officer by calling City Hall at the number below.
