The City of Maypearl’s Planning and Zoning Department manages all permits and applications for activities within the city. This ensures that all development and construction follow city ordinances and safety standards.

When You Need a Permit

You will need a permit for a variety of activities, including building, demolition, plumbing, electrical work, and operating a business.

Building & Renovation Permits
  • New residential or commercial buildings
  • Additions, porches, or decks
  • Fences, pools, or sheds
  • Demolition of any building
  • Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or septic system work
Commercial & Business Permits
  • Operating a new or existing business
  • Changes in ownership or use of a building
  • New or replacement signs
  • Operating a food truck or soliciting
Special Event Permits
  • Road closures or block parties
  • Setting up temporary stages or attractions

Registration

You must be a registered contractor to execute work in the City of Maypearl.

Submission Deadline

Submit your completed application packet 4 days prior to your scheduled meeting.
