How to File a Complaint
We accept and investigate any complaints of unethical behavior, policy violations, or other inappropriate conduct, including criminal profiling. Your complaint will be investigated to determine if there is sufficient evidence for disciplinary action. This process also helps us identify any needs for additional training or policy revisions.
To file a formal complaint:
- Complete a Maypearl PD Complaint Packet.
- The complaint must be in writing and signed by you, the person making the complaint. This is required by state law (Section 614.022 of the Texas Government Code).
- Mail or deliver the original packet to our office at: 104 E. Second Street, Maypearl, TX 76064
Please note that it is difficult to conduct a proper investigation based on anonymous complaints.
