Waste & Recycling

Garbage collection in Maypearl is provided by DCI Sanitation. The City does not offer recycling services currently.

DCI Sanitation will collect normal household and commercial garbage only.

They will NOT collect:

• Manure from animals
• Grease and oil from garages and service stations
• Paint and other household hazardous waste including tires and batteries
• Debris from demolitions of building structures
• Appliances and so on

You may refer to our City Ordinance for garbage collection for details.

Pickup Times

Trash is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Trash must be out on the curb for pickup by 7 a.m.

Bulk Trash

There is a “Spring Clean” bulk trash pick-up twice a year.

• Information regarding timing and what is allowed for pick-up will be provided on the City Website on the homepage as well as on our Social Media Facebook page a week prior to the “Spring Clean” bulk trash pick-up event.

Dumpsters

If you are in need of a dumpster, contact DCI Sanitation at 972-646-5461.

• DCI Sanitation handles dumpster arrangements and billing directly in the City of Maypearl.

Where to Dump Legally?

All Ellis County residents have the option of using the privately owned landfills located within the county. All have convenient hours and user-friendly facilities.
