Payment Options

We accept payments by way of Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, and most major Credit Cards. If you choose to pay by credit card, a convenience fee of 5% will be added to your payment amount and you must pay the fine amount in full. We do not accept personal checks.

Online Payments

With your ticket number, for your convenience, you can pay by way of Credit Card online.

Payments In-Person

You can pay in person at the Court window located at Maypearl City Hall. The address is as follows:

  • Please be prepared to provide your full name, date of birth, driver’s license number, and/or ticket number to the clerk to complete payment.
  • You may also pay after hours by way of Cashier’s Check or Money Order in our Nighly Drop Box located outside the City Hall Entrance Door. Please place your payment and identifying information (full name, date of birth, driver’s license number, and/or ticket number) in an envelope for processing.

Payments by Mail

You can pay your ticket by way of mail. Please mail your Cashier’s Check or Money Order along with identifying information (full name, date of birth, driver’s license number, and/or ticket number) to the following address:

Payments by Phone

With your name, date of birth, driver’s license number and/or ticket number, you can contact the Court to make payment by phone with a Credit Card by dialing (972) 435-2380.

Payment Arrangements

If you cannot pay your fine in FULL, appear in-person and request an indigent application to be submitted to the Judge for approval.

  • Your payment arrangement request must be received on or before your appearance date on your citation.
  • If you require more than 30 days to pay your fine in full, a fee of $10 will be added for each offense, as required by state law.

Consequences of Neglecting a Ticket

If you failure to pay your fine, show proof of compliance, apply for a Driver’s Safety Course or Deffered Disposition on or before your Court date, or fail to appear by your scheduled Court date and time will result in:

  • A separate charge for Failure to Appear (FTA) of $144. Inability to pay the fine is not an excuse for failing to appear. Fine payment arrangements can be requested.
  • Denial of Driver’s License issuance or renewal and denial of vehicle registration. To clear your Driver’s License or registration, you must pay a $10 Department of Public Safety (DPS) notification fee for each case.
  • Referral to a collections vendor will result in an additional fee of 30% of the total fine.
